5-stars isn’t enough. It’s as if they practice professionalism. Well kept, clean facility. The front desk worker is as calm as a cucumber, and the Doctors are thorough and respectful. Will most certainly be happy to return, and can’t wait for the next appointment. Great Job guys and keep doing what your doing.

This place is awesome! My son got this super nice hygienist named Mary Ellen and he said that he was going to give this place a good review too because of her! 5 stars, my son is no longer afraid of the dentists office after he switched dentists. I have always had dental anxiety but they're so nice & gentle that I will definitely come back again!
Lisa T.
I had been putting off a dental implant for over a year - finally decided to go have it done. Absolutely NO pain whatsoever! Not sure how it’s possible - but Dr. Pais has a kind demeanor and managed the whole process without pain, including the next day. I felt nothing! Don’t put it off - I’d highly recommend Dr. Pais for the procedure!
Irish C.
I was so scared to get a tooth extraction and implants but everyone was so calming and reassuring during the entire procedure. The doctor told me about each step as he went; the nurse was so kind and gentle. It barely hurt at all! They did a fantastic job.

The office runs on time, I was taken back not minutes after my arrival. My hygienist Jordan was excellent. She was thorough, meticulous and explained everything she was doing. Dr. Paes was great too, addressed my concerns and gave me reasonable plans going forward. I will definitely be staying as a permanent patient at Town Center Dental.

Town Central of Lagrange is a Wonderful facility. I just had my first painless root canal done. Everyone there is kind and the place is immaculate. Would definitely recommend anyone.

When I say I’m scared of the dentist I’m scared. I recently had my wisdom teeth removed with iv sedation 4 days ago. The surgeon and his assistant were amazing. They made me feel very comfortable. After the surgery of course I needed some down time that day and the next morning I was a little sore. With the medicine prescribed to me I only feel some soreness but I was able to take care of my 4 kids with no problem. I recommend Town Center Dental 100%.

Gentle Checkups & Cleanings

At Town Center Dental of LaGrange, we understand that maintaining a healthy mouth is essential for your overall well-being. Regular dental cleanings and checkups are a critical component of this journey. Skipping or avoiding your general dental care can lead to various problems, including tooth decay, gum disease, and more. If left untreated for an extended period, these issues can even threaten your overall health.

While your oral hygiene habits at home play a vital role, nothing can replace the benefits of a professional dental cleaning. We are dedicated to delivering excellence in dental care, and our team is here to ensure that your dental checkups are a positive and comfortable experience.

The Basics of Dental Checkups

Dental checkups, often referred to as routine or general dental visits, are the cornerstone of preventive dental care. These appointments typically occur every six months, although your dentist may recommend a different frequency based on your specific needs. During your dental checkup, several essential components come together to ensure the health of your teeth, gums, and overall oral well-being.

Professional Cleaning

A vital component of your dental checkup is a professional cleaning performed by one of our skilled hygienists. This meticulous cleaning goes beyond what you can achieve at home with a toothbrush and floss. Here's what you can expect during your professional cleaning:

Plaque and Tartar Removal: Our hygienists use special instruments to eliminate stubborn plaque and tartar buildup from your teeth. Tartar, or hardened plaque, is a primary contributor to tooth decay and gum disease. Regular professional cleanings are essential to remove this buildup and protect your oral health.

Stain Removal: We understand the importance of a bright and stain-free smile. Our team will carefully remove surface stains, leaving your teeth looking refreshed and revitalized.

Gum Health Assessment: Healthy gums are the foundation of a healthy smile. Our hygienists will assess the condition of your gums and provide guidance on maintaining optimal gum health.

Maintaining a regular schedule of professional cleanings is vital to safeguarding your oral health throughout your life. It's a simple yet effective way to prevent dental issues and maintain a beautiful smile.

Digital X-rays

Advanced technology plays a significant role in our dental checkups. Digital X-rays provide a clear and detailed view of your oral structures, enabling us to identify any hidden issues. We prioritize your safety by using low radiation doses during these X-rays.

Oral Cancer Screenings

Your well-being is our top priority. As part of your checkup, we include oral cancer screenings. These screenings are a proactive measure to detect any potential signs of oral cancer early. Early detection is critical for successful treatment, and our team is diligent in this aspect of your care.

Dental Exam

A comprehensive dental exam is a crucial part of your checkup. During this examination, Dr. Paes and our experienced team will perform a detailed assessment of your:

  • Teeth
  • Jaws
  • Oral soft tissues

Your Dental Health Matters

Beyond the technical aspects of your checkup, our goal is to provide you with a welcoming and comfortable environment. We understand that visiting the dentist can be intimidating for some, and we're here to make your experience as positive as possible. If, during your comprehensive dental exam, any issues are detected, you can trust Dr. Paes to handle them with expertise. We offer a full range of services in general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry, all conveniently available under one roof.
