Pre-implant appointment
If you have decided to take advantage of Teeth in a Day, it's time to move forward with a pre-implant visit. During this appointment, we will take 3D CT scans of your mouth and jaw. This helps us collect very precise measurements to plan for the most successful surgery.
Implant Placement Procedure
Once the big day arrives for your dental implant placement, you can expect to be kept comfortable throughout your procedure and go home with implants and temporary teeth. Rest assured that your temporary set of prosthetic teeth are designed to provide excellent aesthetics and function until your permanent overdentures are ready to be placed.
Post Implant Follow-Ups
To ensure your dental implants are healing properly over the next several weeks, you will need to attend multiple post-operative checkups. This allows Dr. Paes to continue to guide you on your recovery plan, which will include a soft foods diet and special cleaning guidelines. When I say I’m scared of the dentist I’m scared. I recently had my wisdom teeth removed with iv sedation 4 days ago. The surgeon and his assistant were amazing. They made me feel very comfortable. After the surgery of course I needed some down time that day and the next morning I was a little sore.
